Seminar for professional bus drivers in Heraklion, Crete

• The Model Driving Schools of Heraklion Crete I-drive and the company Sdivipgm.gr co-organized with the support of the Chief Trainer and Operations Coordinator of the Institute for Man-made and Natural Disaster Management IDAFK, Manolis Gialitakis, the valuable assistance of #Volunteer_Team_EPIDRASIS and the Select Team of Special Missions of Heraklion, Information seminar for professional bus drivers, but also for those other drivers and non-drivers, who were interested in participating, in order to know the first actions in case of fire, fire fighting issues and extrication from a bus that has an engine fire.
• Many of the questions expressed by passengers about the inevitable event of their extrication in such an emergency have now been answered.
• The purpose of the action is to allow participants to gain practical experience and improve their skills in a safe and controlled space.

The Seminar was held with great success at V.I.P.E.H. on Th Street at I.K.T.E.O. PATRONAKI on Saturday 18/03/23 at 11:00 a.m. During it, all participants had the opportunity to practice firefighting using fire extinguishers that were on site with the valuable help of the DAMANAKIS FIRE company.
